Dr. Rob Elkington
CEO & Founder
Dr. Rob Elkington is the Founder and CEO of Global Leadership Initiatives, Inc. He is also a professor at Trent University, a Professor at Ontario Tech University in the Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and is a Senior Lecturer at the Stellenbosch University School of Public Leadership. Rob also works with Ontario Tech University's Continuous Learning Centre to develop and facilitate numerous courses for public and private-sector organizations.
COO & Co-Founder
COO and Co-Founder of Global Leadership Initiatives, Sarah Elkington holds a BHSc. (Hons) as well as a BHSc.N and a certificate in Professional Management. She is the COO and co-founder of Global Leadership Initiatives, Inc. Sarah's passion is to create programs and services that promote organizational growth as well as healthy, successful leaders.
Berna is a Flow Certified Professional Coach (FCPC) and is accredited as an ACC (Associate Certified Coach). As a Transformational Leadership Coach, Berna is pursuing her PCC credential with International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Cary combines deep scientific expertise in the social sciences with extensive C-suite coaching and consulting experience to elevate even the most successful leaders. Cary’s clients describe her as brilliantly insightful, pragmatically blunt, and contagiously positive. She has a knack for knowing which frameworks and resources will profoundly impact her clients. Cary helps her clients activate new awareness and heighten conversational, relational, and emotional capacities.
Chidumebi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Babcock University and is pursuing a Master of Management degree at Trent University. With a keen passion for video production, she is enthusiastic about bridging the gap between the business world and the art of visual storytelling. Chidumebi is eager to explore the endless opportunities that emerge at the crossroads of management and multimedia production.
Christine is an ACCA candidate with extensive experience in Assurance and Finance from working in Big 4 Advisory and M&A.
Tram also possesses strong business acumen from her past experience founding a successful non-profit educational center and leading a project management function in a similar industry.
Upon completing her Master of Management degree, Chrstine is enthusiastic to explore a career in Management Consulting/Finance Transformation.
Sharmin Ferdouse, Chairman and Co-Founder of Aakar Architects Ltd., is a versatile
professional with expertise in digital marketing, TV content research, and entrepreneurship. As
a Script Editor at Bongo, she played a key role in content selection and localization. Before this, she was a Senior Newsroom Editor at Ekattor Television, coordinating a social media team. Outside her professional commitments, Sharmin is actively involved in volunteer work, staging theatrical performances for social awareness. Sharmin’s academic achievements include pursuing a master’s in strategic Change Management at Trent University. She holds a master’s in business administration with a major in Marketing from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
Derek is an award-winning instructional designer and eLearning developer. In addition, Derek is an emerging researcher in his field, recently publishing in The International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Learning.
Dr. Ngunjiri is the Director of the Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work, and Associate Professor of Ethics and Leadership at the Offutt School of Business at Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota). She has research interests in women and leadership, particularly at the intersections of identities and geo-locations; spirituality in the workplace; and, culturally appropriate qualitative methods
CGreg Frankson is the founder and CEO of Voice Share Inc. He holds certificates in Indigenous Awareness and Coaching for Performance and Mentorship, and earned bachelor’s degrees in history and education at Queen’s University. Greg is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and the League of Canadian Poets..
Dr. Greg Morgan is an Australian leadership practitioner, consultant and researcher who sees leadership as a type of practical wisdom for generating influence in relationships. He works with leaders across sectors on personalised, action-oriented leadership development, around cultivating productive understandings, and structures and practices for collaborating and bringing out the best in each other.
Heinrich C. Volmink
Heinrich is a medical doctor and specialist in public health medicine. He is a public health specialist, advisor, and Catalyst in the industry and is also a board member of OUTA, a civil society organization that fights against corruption and maladministration in South Africa. Additionally, he is a reserve force officer (Major) in the South African Military Health Service.
Dr. Frumer is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and Mental Health Counselor and earned her Ph.D. in Human Capital Management from the College of Business at Bellevue University, NE. She has over 38 years in nonprofit leadership and enjoys combining her clinical and business knowledge and skills to help organizations.
Jessica is a seasoned leadership coach having served over seven years in an executive leadership role in law enforcement. She has expertise in managerial coaching and leadership development for law enforcement professionals, and a proven ability to cultivate a growth mindset in individuals and teams resulting in increased productivity and engagement. Jessica is passionate about helping law enforcement professionals and others reach their full potential and make a positive impact in the community.
John D. Volmink
Dr. John D. Volmink was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa. He completed his PhD in Mathematics Education at Cornell University in 1988. He later became the Head of Mathematics at the then Peninsula Technikon.
Kirsten is an organizational development Catalyst, diversity strategist, and inclusive leadership coach.
Les Sylven has over 30 years of experience as a police officer in Canada, serving with three different police organizations in a wide variety of roles from police recruit to police chief. He is a life-member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, and an active member of the International Leadership Association and the International Coaching Federation. In 2023, Les completed his PhD in Leadership Studies at the University of Victoria where he researched how meditation and mindfulness could influence the practice of police leadership and become a catalyst for police reform.
Krystal holds a bachelor’s in Criminology and Justice, as well as a master’s in Criminology, from Ontario Tech University. Krystal’s research specialization focuses on crimes against seniors, particularly within the long-term care system. Furthermore, Krystal’s research focuses on workplace leadership, the impact of technology on leadership, and the effectiveness of workplace training, education, and mediation.
Nikhila Sri Lakshmi Tiruvuru
Nikhila Sri holds a Bachelor’s in Technology and is presently pursuing a Master’s in Management at Trent University. She is passionate about business analysis and product management and she is also a certified yoga teacher, reflecting her dedication to holistic well-being. With a background in technology and business, Nikhila brings a unique perspective to her professional pursuits and aims to utilize analytical skills and delve into exploring the myriad opportunities for enhancing business strategies to contribute significantly across various domains.
Rachel brings over 20 years of progressive senior leadership experience and is accomplished across a wide range of functions. She has developed executive governance models and has implemented learning and development programs impacting thousands of employees across Canada.
Rakesh Krishnamoorthy, hailing from Tamil Nadu, India, is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Trent University while working as an Identity and Access Management Analyst in Canada. With a rich history of holding diverse leadership positions in academia, Rakesh is driven by a keen interest in exploring transformational leadership and is dedicated to bridging the gap between technology and effective people management.
Seth R. Silver
Dr. Seth R Silver is a consultant with decades of experience working alongside over 150 diverse organizations. He’s an extensively published author, and the creator of the Workplace Covenant model of organizational partnership building. His consulting work has covered cultural change, employee engagement, and customer loyalty; working with leadership teams to increase effectiveness/performance, and more.
As owner and principal of transform., Dr. Martin lives out her why – to awaken people to their purpose and strengths so that together, we can transform our world.
Martin listens deeply to help individuals, groups, and organizations challenge their own status quo so that they are impacting the greater good. Her expertise includes strategy formation, strengthening organizational culture and communication, integrating conflict, and coaching.
Dr. Tim Franz is a Social and Organizational Psychologist and Professor in the Department of Psychology at St. John Fisher College, Rochester. He is an extensively published author in the domains of leadership and organizational effectiveness. He has decades of experience in organizational consulting with a leadership focus.
Dr. Xoliswa Majola works for the University of KwaZulu-Natal Graduate School of Business and Leadership. Has a BA in Communication Science Degree, BA Honours in Communication in Telecommunications and Information Policy from University of South Africa, Master of Commerce in Leadership (ICT and Economic Development), PhD in Leadership.
