We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
Winston Churchill

As a leader with 13 years of experience in not-for-profit, social services, leadership, business, teaching and counselling, I am known for being a reliable, trustworthy, and supportive, professional who is approachable and cares deeply about others. I have been recognized for being an innovative and solution-focused leader at the forefront of my field. I am most proud of knowing that my hard work and dedication made a significant impact on ending youth homelessness in my community. I am always excited to connect with, and assist people by investigating, defining, and solving issues that will allow them to thrive. Using my lens as a counsellor combined with my expertise allows me to make impactful changes with people, processes, and structures within an organization. I love using my experience as a business professional and executive director provide mentorship and guidance to executives, board members, staff teams and students.

Leadership Journey

I began my career working with my community’s most vulnerable individuals by meeting them on park benches or on street corners, and transitioned into teaching college students, counselling, and volunteering. I became the executive director of a not-for-profit and worked with leaders in many different industries. My ability to build rapport, have empathy and truly understand the people I work with has enabled me to excel in helping others on their leadership journey. For some it was assisting them to become leaders of their own lives and for others it was to become a stronger and more confident leader of their board or organization. We all have to be leaders at some point in our lives and I am always thrilled to help people develop their leadership skills.
